1. How do you showcase short films?

We review the short films and embed the YouTube / Vimeo link along with it on our website.

2. Can I submit my short-films on festivals?

Yes, you can. If you wish to keep your short film private, you can share a private link with us. For Vimeo links with a password, please add the password next to the link in the form. We also accept Google Drive links.

3. Do you accept Private Links?

Yes, you can share a private link with us. For Vimeo links with a password, please add the password next to the link in the form. We also accept Google Drive links. Private links are only for internal reviewing purposes. They won't be shared anywhere publicly.

4. My short film is in Marathi/Tamil/Telugu/Punjabi/Bengali/Kannada. Can I still submit it?

Yes, we take pride in showcasing regional short films.

5. I did not receive any callback from Kala Chashma.

Unfortunately, your film did not qualify for further rounds.

6. What is the refund policy?

The submissions are irreversible and a refund is not applicable if the user wants to withdraw the submission after submitting on the website or for not following the rules. If the film is not featured for not meeting the minimum criteria, the submission fee will not be refunded.

7. How long does the review process take?

The review takes approximately 15-30 days.

8. Will I mantain the ownership of my short film?

We have zero ownership of the short films you submit. It remains a property of the creator.
